Aquilegia vulgaris 'Magpie'

Graceful ferny foliage and near black bonnets and sepals contrasting with white corollas make Magpie unique amongst Aquilegias. This hardy perennial, popular with both gardeners and flower arrangers, blooms in early summer and can tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions. Sowing Instructions

Sow from February to June in moist seed compost and seal in polythene bag until germination which can take up to 35 days. Transplant into pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Plant 12ins apart in flowering position during autumn. Will grow in both sun or partial shade.
