These delightful collarette dahlias produce dwarf bushy plants and attractive and unusual flowers in several different shades of purple, orange, red, yellow and white. Each flower has a yellow eye surrounded by a matching or contrasting collar of quilled petals. (24ins)
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors in February or March in trays of good seed compost. Place in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag until germination occurs. Prick out into 3ins pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Don't discard the smaller seedlings as some colours tend to be stronger than others. Gradually harden off before planting out 15ins apart when all danger of frost has gone. Prefers full sun and moist but well drained soil.
