Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors from late spring to early summer in a prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds thinly, 1.5mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Keep the ground moist until germination and, when large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to a spacing of 6ins. In autumn, transplant into flowering position, 24ins apart for flowering the following year. Can also be sown indoors in trays of moist seed compost. They will grow in most soils and prefer partial shade.
