Foxglove purpurea 'Excelsior Hybrids Mixed' F1 Hybrid

 This spectacular strain has tall spikes covered with large tubular flowers with prominent interior mottling. The colours range from creamy white to dark rose. Like all foxgloves, they look at their best growing under trees or amongst shrubs.(150cm 5ft)

Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors from late spring to early summer in a prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds thinly, 1.5mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Keep the ground moist until germination and, when large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to a spacing of 6ins. In autumn, transplant into flowering position, 24ins apart for flowering the following year. They will grow in most soils and prefer partial shade.
