Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina' (HP)

'Zebrina' is a fast growing perennial which reliably flowers in its first year from an early sowing and is often treated as an annual. Plants form upright, bushy clumps with 3ft. flower spikes crammed with satiny, light pink blooms which have dramatic dark purple markings. Long flowering and very attractive to butterflies.

Sowing Instructions

Sow indoors in early spring in trays of moist seed compost. Seal inside a polythene bag until germination. transplant into 3ins pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler conditions and plant out 18ins apart in late spring. Sun or partial shade.
