Ikatcha is a dwarf multiflora petunia. Multifloras have smaller but more numerous flowers than grandiflora varieties. They are also longer lasting and are more tolerant of poor weather conditions. Ikatcha produces uniform, compact, free flowering plants in many shades of blue, red, pink, yellow and white and are the ideal way of carpeting large areas of beds and borders in a riot of colour. They also do well in window boxes and containers. This is a mix of plain, solid colours.
Sowing Instructions
Sow from February to May on the surface of moist seed compost and firm down gently. Do not cover seeds or exclude light. Place in propagator or seal inside a polythene bag until germination. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 3ins pots and grow on. Harden off before planting out (9ins apart) after last frosts.
