Coriander is also known as cilantro or Chinese parsley. It has fine stems, fern-like leaves and tiny white flowers. It is commonly used as a flavouring in Middle Eastern and Mexican cuisine. The crushed seeds will add a citrus flavour to cakes and meat dishes while the leaves can be used in salads, soups and casseroles. (90cm/3ft)
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors in spring in ordinary garden soil. Thin out the seedlings to 13cm apart. They do best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade.
