Back by popular demand, this nutritious all-the-year round salad crop is simple to grow outdoors in the summer and indoors in winter and is ideal for introducing young children to the joys of growing their own food. Adds a mild peppery pungency to salads, soups, sandwich fillings and garnishes.

Sowing Instructions

Cress can be grown on the surface of any material which retains moisture e.g. flannel, kitchen towel etc. Moisten the growing medium well and place in a small container, spreading the seeds thickly over the surface. Place in a warm dark position until germination and then move into light. Can be grown outdoors in ordinary garden soil in summer. Do not allow to dry out. Ready to use in 10-14 days.
