Dill

Dill is a member of the parsley family and a native of S.E. Asia. It is easy to grow, has attractive feathery foliage and its small flowers attract benefitial pollinating insects. It has many culinary uses and is particularly good in butter, mayonaise, potato salad and cream sauces. It makes a delicious topping for fish, particularly salmon.(60-90cm/24-36ins)

Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors from April to June in prepared soil. Sow thinly 12mm deep in rows 23cm apart. Thin out seedlings as necessary. A warm, sunny position gives best results.
