This is a recent variety from Cygnet PB (Nigel Starling) using their Cambridge and Scottish facilities. There are family connections in the company with Jura – hence the name. It is a high yielding, general purpose white potato aimed at the commercial prepack market. This is a developing variety from a company which at least acknowledges that flavour is a factor in variety choice. Apart from blight and slugs, it has some useful resistance to garden problems.
