Juliette
This is one of the large batch of European salads which entered the market in the 1990s. I had difficulty discriminating - I prefer floury types and few were produced as seed in Scotland. Juliette, bred from Nicola, has eelworm resistance, scab resistance and good storage characteristics. It has become popular (with little help from me!). Arthur McCorquodale, who was the agronomist of the team who invented the term "salad potato" and introduced Charlotte and others to the UK, says in a letter to me about the potatoes they assessed "Juliette is without doubt the best salad potato". Oops! - time to have it back on site.
