Its name perfectly describes the effect created by this low growing, spreading variety as each ground-hugging plant produces thousands of tiny white blooms. It flowers early, lasts throughout the summer and is particularly suited to cool, exposed positions.(10cm/4ins)
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors where they are to flower in April or May. Sow 1.5mm deep in rows 30cm apart. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm apart. For earlier flowers, sow under glass in March and transplant into pots when well grown. Plant out in mid to late April. They prefer a sunny site but will grow in almost any position.
