Amorosa is a very early rosy red salad, pretty and smooth when small but becomes rather more Desiree shaped and more multi – purpose as it matures. It has some reasonable disease resistance - virus, scab, yellow eelworm and tuber blight. We prefer more floury varieties but have some enthusiastic "waxy" customers for this one and the maintainer assesses flavour as "good".
