This TEAGASC early is interesting. It is attractive and, with the exception of eelworm, has good disease resistance. It was launched as a blight resistor but is now Blue13 strain susceptible. It has good early yields to beat blight onset, particularly if seed is chitted. Unusually for an early it has long dormancy and stores well (is this perhaps why it is often now called a maincrop although it was launched as an early?).
