Lady Christl
Lady Christl has become a garden favourite relatively quickly. It is early and produces numerous, pretty, medium – sized, disease resistant, waxy tubers. It suits the sheltered, fertile garden environment (prone to soft rots if stressed). It is susceptible to foliar blight but has fairly good tuber blight resistance to partially protect the crop which usually has plenty of time to develop. Yellow and waxy - I assumed it was not for me but our 2009 garden trial along with good reports from a neighbour about flavour have changed my mind.
