This is a very attractive, bold, yellow baker, originally from Canada. It stands out visually from other varieties and is said to have a buttery flavour (it is certainly good and to my taste). It has moderately high dry matter and fries well. It has surprisingly good boiling qualities. There is some Solanum phureja in the background breeding.
