Runner Bean 'Aintree'

This recent introduction won an RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2006. It yields heavy crops of straight, smooth, slender pods with excellemt quality, taste and texture. Tolerant of high temperatures. Stringless when young. Red flowered.

Sowing Instructions

For early crops, sow indoors in individual pots in April and harden off before planting out 9-12ins apart after last frosts. Sow outdoors in May or June 0.5ins deep. Provide canes, strings or poles for support and keep well watered.
