Runner Bean 'Red Rum'

Another red flowered, British bred, RHS award winner, Red Rum is exceptionally early and sets well even in difficult weather conditions. This, coupled with its tolerance of halo blight, ensures heavy yields of succulent 6-8ins pods over a long period. Ideal for organic gardeners.

Sowing Instructions

For early crops, sow indoors in individual pots in April and harden off before planting out 9-12ins apart after last frosts. Sow outdoors in May or June 0.5ins deep. Provide canes, strings or poles for support and keep well watered.
