Beetroot 'Boltardy'

This variety's resistance to bolting makes it invaluable for early sowing. It has deep ruby red flesh and a sweet fresh flavour.

Sowing Instructions

Sow very thinly from spring to early summer 1in deep in rows 12ins apart. Thin out to 4ins apart. If this is done gradually, later thinnings can be used in salads. Lift mature roots in mid autumn and store in a clamp.
