Cabbage 'Derby Day'

This quick growing cabbage is probably the best of the early ballhead varieties. The medium sized heads are round, light green and very tasty. Slow to bolt.

Sowing Instructions

Sow under glass in February, 0.5ins deep, in trays of moist seed compost. Gradually harden off young plants and plant out when they are about 4ins tall. Alternatively, sow in a prepared seed bed from March to May, transplanting when large enough. Plant firmly and water well until established.
