These pretty, drought tolerant, little plants form dense, spreading mounds of foliage topped by masses of flowers in an intense shade of rich blue. They can be used in bedding schemes, as edging or groundcover and look tremendous planted on their own in baskets, pouches and all types of containers.(Height 6ins. Spread 10ins.)
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors in February or March in trays of moist seed compost. Seal inside a polythene bag until seedlings emerge. When large enough to handle, transplant 2ins apart into boxes or pots and grow on. Harden off before planting out 6ins apart after last frosts. Can also be sown outdoors in April or May and thinned to a spacing of 6ins when large enough. Flowers best in a sheltered, sunny position.
