This traditional variety does equally well in the kitchen and on the showbench. It produces large, mild-flavoured bulbs with straw coloured skin.
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors in mid to late winter, covering the seed with a thin layer of compost. Transplant when 1.5 inches high taking care not to cover the bulb. Move into a cold frame and plant out 15 inches apart in early spring.
