Parsnip 'White Gem'

White Gem is a reliable variety which produces excellent crops in all types of soil. The medium sized, wedge shaped, high quality roots have smooth, white skin and good canker resistance.

Sowing Instructions

Sow half an inch deep in situ from April to June. Sow groups of 4 seeds 8 inches apart and thin out to the strongest seedling. If very long parsnips are required, the soil should be deeply dug and well manured. However, they will do well in ordinary, well drained, cultivated soil.
