Pea 'Hurst GreenShaft'

An RHS award winner, Greenshaft is hard to beat for either flavour or productivity. The 4ins long pods grow in pairs with arond 10 peas per pod. Wrinkle seeded and resistant to downy mildew and fusarium wilt.

Sowing Instructions

Sow from March onwards in a flat bottomed trench 6ins wide and 2ins deep. Either scatter seeds or sow in a zig-zag row, ensuring 2ins between seeds. Fill trench with soil and firm gently. Protect young plants from birds and provide twigs for support. Keep well watered.
