Pea 'Kelvedon Wonder'

Kelvedon Wonder has been a favourite with gardeners for many years. It is an early variety but is suitable for successional sowings throughout the season. The vigorous 18ins plants produce large crops of dark green pods well-filled with smallish, extremely sweet peas. Resistant to Pea Wilt and tolerant to Downy Mildew.

Sowing Instructions

Sow from March onwards in a flat bottomed trench 6ins wide and 2ins deep. Either scatter seeds or sow in a zig-zag row, ensuring 2ins between seeds. Fill trench with soil and firm gently. Protect young plants from birds and provide twigs for support. Keep well watered.
