This mid-season, Supersweet variety is vigorous and extremely productive. The 8-9ins cobs are well filled with sweet, creamy yellow kernels.
Sowing Instructions
Germinate in April in individual 3ins pots. Sow 1cm deep in moist seed compost and place in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag until germination. Plant out 18ins apart in blocks after all risk of frost has passed. Needs fertile soil and a sunny position. If, like us, you live in an area where summer temperatures are not always high enough to produce a successful sweetcorn crop, try planting them in a block 12ins apart in a cool greenhouse or polytunnel. Sweetcorn are wind pollinated so shake the plants daily once tassels have formed.
