Turnip Snowball

An excellent early variety, producing sweet, white, juicy globes. It crops well from early summer to early winter and is tastiest when eaten while quite small. The tops can be used as nutritious, tasty ‘greens’.

Sowing Instructions

Turnips prefer rich, well manured soil. Sow at intervals in situ from spring to mid-summer, half an inch deep in drills 12 inches apart. Thin as necessary.
