This new Cygnet PB variety, bred by Nigel Starling is part pink and lives up to its name - it has even had recent showbench success. Its smooth, uniform tubers have done very well in initial trials which compared it with sister variety Saxon. It has good disease resistance including resistance to common scab and yellow eelworm. It was one of the highest yielders in our 2009/2010 garden trials and although the dry matter is fairly low the flavour was very pleasant.
