Perennial foxgloves have become popular in recent years and plants can now be commonly found in many garden centres but they are as easy as their biennial cousins to grow from seed. This unusual variety is a native of Nothern Spain and produces elegant spikes circled by small chocolate coloured, white netted trumpets in spring. Bees and other pollinating insects love them!

Sowing Instructions

Sow from February to June on the surface of moist seed compost and seal in polythene bag until germination which can take up to 14 days. Transplant into pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Plant 12ins apart in flowering position during autumn. Will grow in sun or partial shade.
