Brussels Sprout 'Brilliant' F1

A modern F1 Hybrid, 'Brilliant' is a very early, high yielding variety. It produces bumper crops of dark green, round, tight sprouts which stand well on the plant, giving a long harvesting period. Good flavour. Some resistance to powdery mildew and bolting.

Sow very thinly in early spring in a well prepared seed bed, 0.5ins deep in drills 12ins apart. When the seedlings are about 6ins high, transplant firmly to their cropping position (20x20ins apart),
