Melody is fairly new to us. It has attractive, bright tubers to match the attractive name. It is a modern very high yielding, general purpose type with good disease characteristics including eelworm and tuber blight resistance. This variety has taken off in Europe and is the favourite of the UK maintainer's Production Manager especially as a waxy baker. It stores well.
