Cauliflower 'Winter Alsmeer' (Spring)

This R.H.S. award winning Walcheren type is our favourite cauliflower. Being extremely hardy, it crops reliably even in nothern areas of the U.K., it produces large, creamy white heads of excellent quality and flavour, it matures gradually in April, giving an extended cropping period and it's ready to eat long before the caterpillars have a chance to get to work.

Sowing Instructions

Sow in late spring/early summer in a well prepared seed bed and transplant 18ins apart when seedlings are large enough to handle. Firm ground well and water until established.
