Sweet but with a bit of a kick, Pimentos are widely used in Spanish cuisine and have a fuller, stronger flavour than bell peppers. The rounded, heart shaped fruits ripen from dark green to bright, cherry red.
Sowing Instructions
Sow seeds thinly on the surface of a good
seed compost, lightly covering the seeds. Place in a propagator or seal
inside a polythene bag until after germination. When seedlings are
large enough to handle, transplant into 3ins pots and, when well grown,
harden off and plant outside 18ins apart in a sunny, well drained site.
For indoor crops, plant into growbags or large pots. In the U.K.,
peppers are generally more successful when grown under glass.
