Courgette 'Defender' F1

This British bred variety yields early, heavy crops of mid-green, speckled courgettes and will keep producing well into autumn. It has an open habit which makes picking easy. Ideal for small spaces. Resistant to Cucumber Mosaic virus. This was our most popular courgette last season.

Sowing Instructions

Sow indoors half an inch deep. Transplant when large enough into 3 inch pots. Harden off before planting out after last frosts. Allow plenty of room (30 inches) in a sunny well drained spot.
