This is a white early maincrop in the National Collection in Edinburgh. It is round/ short oval with pale yellow flesh. It dates from before 1934. Dobbie and Co moved from the Isle of Bute to the Edinburgh area in 1910. They did a considerable amount of plant breeding, including potato breeding while on Bute and were active in introducing other breeders varieties both from Bute and Edinburgh.
