Dwarf Bean Borlotto

These very attractive and versatile beans produce flat, light green beans heavily mottled in bright red which can be eaten in the pods when young and tender or, if left to mature, can be easily dried for use as haricots.

Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors, preferably under cloches if sown early, from March to June once soil has warmed up. Sow in pairs 2ins deep and 8ins apart, allowing 18ins between rows Keep well watered.
