Cabbage 'Pixie'

This very early, versatile R.H.S. award winner can be used either as spring greens or as hearted cabbage. It is a compact variety with pointed heads of excellent flavour and colour.

Sowing Instructions

For a spring crop, sow in summer in a well prepared seed bed. Sow thinly 0.5 ins deep in rows 9ins apart or sow in late spring for autumn use. When the seedlings have developed 5 or 6 leaves, transplant into firm ground containing plenty of organic matter allowing 25cm between plants. Can be used either as 'spring greens' or hearted cabbages cabbages.
