Cabbage 'Ruby Ball' F1

This Summer/Autumn variety is one of the best reds around. It has high quality, early maturing, deep red, solid heads. Excellent for pickling and delicious lightly steamed or boiled. Very sweet.

Sowing Instructions

Sow indoors in trays of seed compost in February or March or outdoors in a well-prepared seed bed in March or April. Sow thinly 1/2in deep and transplant when seedlings have 5 or 6 leaves, allowing 24ins between plants. Firm ground well and keep well watered until established.
