Agrico is the largest potato organization in Europe and Ambassador is their new replacement for their existing floury variety, Premiere. They reckon they now have the best early chipper around. It is long oval with pale yellow flesh. It has reasonable resistance to blight and scab and good resistance to virus and blackleg. Eelworm resistance is unusual - modern style resistance to the white pallida type but susceptible to the more established yellow type.
