Bred especially as a cut flower, 'Earth Walker' produces dark centred flowers in earthy shades of orange, terracotta, bronze and chocolate. The plants are robust and multi-headed. (6-9ft.)
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors in spring in well cultivated soil. Sow 1/2in deep and 12 ins apart. For earlier flowering, sow indoors in individual pots. When well grown, gradually harden off and plant out after the last frosts. They prefer a sunny, open site but will grow almost anywhere. To prolong the flowering period, make two sowings 14 days apart. Leave some flowerheads to feed the birds in autumn and early winter.
