One of the shortest sunflowers available, Topolino is the ideal choice for small gardens and patio containers. The 2ft. tall, branching plants produce an abundance of medium sized, dark centred, sunshine yellow flowers which are ideal for flower arrangements and informal bouquets.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors in spring in well cultivated soil. Sow 1/2in deep and 6 ins apart. For earlier flowering, sow indoors in individual pots. When well grown, gradually harden off and plant out to flowering position after the last frosts. They prefer a sunny, open site but will grow almost anywhere. Leave some flowerheads to feed the birds in autumn and early winter.
