Pea 'Canoe' gets its name from its long, slightly curved, pointed pods which often contain ten or eleven sweet, good sized peas. This second early / maincrop variety is wrinkle seeded and produces semi leafless, self supporting plants.
Sowing Instructions
Sow from March onwards in a flat bottomed trench 6ins wide and 2ins deep. Either scatter seeds or sow in a zig-zag row, ensuring 2ins between seeds. Fill trench with soil and firm gently. Protect young plants from birds and provide twigs for support. Keep well watered.
