An heirloom variety, 'Chrysantha' produces sturdy, bushy, free flowering plants and striking, citrus yellow, chrysanthemum-like blooms with long, curving petals. Edible flowers.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors from March to May, depending on weather conditions. Cover the seeds to a depth of 12mm. Thin out the young plants to 30cm apart when they are large enough to handle. Prefers a well drained site and full sun but will grow almost anywhere. For earlier flowers, Calendula can be sown indoors and treated as a half hardy annual.
